Annual Reunion Dinner & Dance

Choose from a choice of four starters, Roast Beef, Roast Chicken or Vegetarian main course, a choice of four desserts, and cheese and biscuits with tea or coffee to follow.
Our Annual Reunion Dinner and Dance is held in Willand Village Hall. It's a tried and tested formula that works very well for us. We lay the tables up to sit ten people, and always make sure there are extra places laid so that everyone can sit with their partner, even if they arrive at the last minute. Tables are decorated with a colour scheme of blue and yellow, and each has a flower arrangement, so it all looks rather grand. And we like to dress up a bit as well, which adds to the occassion.
We use local outside caterers from Dulford just outside Cullompton called Cottage Catering. Ashley Persey runs the business, and also has an interest in the Keepers Cottage Inn at Dulford. He is a farmers son and provided us with an excelant four course meal last year, so we are only too pleased that he has agreed to do our next dinner as well.
Each ticket has a lucky number on it that gives you free entry in a raffle, which is quickly taken after the meal. The speaches (what speach?) are short and the tables quickly cleared away so that little time is wasted before the dancing starts.
We do try to make this a reunion dinner and dance. We are always pleased to see past members and dancers come back to visit us, and the dinner is an ideal social occassion to catch up on news and happy memories.
